It's been a month and one-week since I've had UFE. A few days

after the procedure I was due for a period, which I did have and it

was quite light. But now, a week ago, I have my second period and

it was so heavy, unlike I've ever had before, even before the UFE I

have never such heavy gushing/flooding changing every half hour.

This lasted for 3 days in row and finally on the 3rd I called my IR

and she suggested I come in for an ultrasound that I did the very next

day. Everything was fine according her and the fibroids have not

changed size as of yet, which is fine, it may be too soon to see a

change. She thought I may have had some 'debris' in the uterus that

needs to be cleaned via DNC. She also suggested birth control pills

to help lighten the period next time round, I wasn't too keen on that

idea, I never liked the birth control pills.

I had a lot of back pain and pelvic cramping during my periods I am

taking a lot more ibuprofen post UFE prior to the procedure I needed

to take it only the first day or so of my period. Since my period has

finished, everyday I am getting pelvic cramping and lower back pains,

and the last couple of days, this unusual flutter feeling in the

pelvic area has me concerned which has started to cause me anxiety.

Maybe I am expecting too much too soon.

My only good pain free time was 2 weeks post UFE.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Sorry about the long

message.
