I was diagnosed with 7 small fibroids last June at age 41. My doctor

prescribed Alessee bcp to control bleeding. I could not continue

with those cause I was subsequently diagnosed with high blood

pressure. My gyn then put me on Depo Provera. I had the first shot

Dec. 17 by New Year's Eve I was spotting. I've been bleeding ever

since. I believe I had an actual period in there somewhere and it's

now Feb. 17th and I believe I'm having another period. As you'll

can imagine I ain't happy. I'm suppose to have another injection of

Depo in March but I don't think I'm going to get it. The doctor

told me I would probably bleed some until my periods eventually

would end...but wearing a pad or tampon for the last 7 weeks is too

much...ugh!!! Has anyone here had a similar experience? There has

to be something better to treat the fibroids.
