Mississippi breaks the silence!

Wohooooo!!!! Believe it or not, this is the FIRST news story out of

Mississippi that I've ever posted which mentioned fibroids, much less

an alternative beyond the hysterectomy....

ly, it is my opinion the DeSoto Times (and especially

Risher, the journalist who wrote this piece) is to be congratulated

for this seemingly unprecedented move into this medical century in

that very fine southern state otherwise known as Mississippi

Appendectomy territory! I left my voicemail for thanking him

for this article...you might consider sending an email to his editor

at: editor @ DeSotoTimes.com (only without the spaces before and

after the @ symbol).

I had to check the state info on this news piece a multitude of

times...'cuz it was simply such a benign little story but was from

MISSISSIPPI! Can't tell you how exciting it is to stumble upon ANY

story from that state which mentions fibroids.....

OLIVE BRANCH — Physicians and administrators from Baptist Memorial

Hospital-DeSoto conducted a demonstration for the Olive Branch Chamber

of Commerce Wednesday on the new technological procedures available.

" We just want to present an overview of what is going on that you

don't see in many community hospitals, " Olive Branch Chamber of

Commerce Manager Vickie DuPree said. " There have been some great

strides in health care at Baptist Memorial-DeSoto. "
