Several years ago, I think Mark Weber listed a site that you could check out

quacks and hoaxes.

Could anyone help me. I am trying to discern claims made at website

www.ericiswinning.com

Thank you for your help. Former PLS Friend member.

P.S. For those of you that knew me, my husband, Gene's dx changed to ALS. You

may have to e-mail me direct at westernland@...

Dollie,

There are various sites useful for checking out hoaxes. www.snopes.com

is probably the most widely known one but a whole lot of them are listed

on http://www.jdlasica.com/hoaxes.html

Having said that, I don't believe you need have any concerns about

Edney whose site you mentioned. I have been following 's progress

for years and am a paid subscriber to his info. I think it cost me

something like $20 - big deal and for that I got a book explaining all

he was doing and had done. Admittedly I have not received a newsletter

for quite a while. Such a fall off in output is always a worry with

someone with ALS as years of experience indicates it is often due to a

downturn in health.

That said, it would surprise me if that was the case as I am a believer

in the approach has taken so far. He has gone far beyond what most

people are prepared to do in terms of avoiding toxins etc but I have

always had it in the back of my mind that if I should start progressing

again I would certainly do as best I could manage the sort of things

has done. To me it is well worth paying the small 'subscription

fee' for which he and his wife send you out a book explaining all he has

done (the fee doesn't even apparently cover the cost of producing and

sending the book) plus (now very) occasional email updates and info he

sends out.
