Guest guest
> Hello Jeanne, > Your doctor may request one more dose of Lupron. Hi Sonja: I did get one last shot of Lupron (3.75 mg) yesterday. That is the 6th shot and I cannot have anymore. The literature for Lupron from TAP pharmaceuticals states the maximum dose for endometriosis is 6 months and for anemia from fibroids - max. 3 months. Hopefully, the last shot of Lupron will hold me over until my hysteroscopic resection. I also got a rx for pain. You know, I've been on the Lupron for the past 6 months and it kept my symptoms at bay. However, the bleeding began and the bloating is simply terrible from these nasty things (fibroids). My old gyn doctor is being re-certified with my HMO insurance. They thought she would be on board effective 4-1-04. I now may be 5-1- 04. I going to see another gyn doctor today to see if I like him and to ask him if he can do a test to see how far embedded my submucosal fibroid is in the uterine wall. As I stated before, I do not want my uterus removed in any way and I need to have great probability from the doc that only a resection will be done, not a hysterectomy. I'm also thinking about self-paying to see Dr. Glassner in Brwn Mawr. I'll keep you posted. How long were you on the Lupron before your resections? Best wishes to you in TTC. Take care.
