Guest guest
Hi Pam, Take Motrin or whatever you are using for pain at least an hour before you go - hopefully that will help. They usually pull them out pretty quick so the discomfort should only be a minute or two. I had quite a bit of bruising with my incision but it gone now. I think sometimes they have to stretch you open a lot in order to remove some of the big fibroids. Good luck tomorrow & I hope the rest of your recovery continues to go well. ~Cindy > Hi everyone, > > I'm very nervous about getting my staples out tomorrow morning. Guest guest
Hi Pam, It has been a couple of years since I had my myo done. Had a vertical incision also with the nasty staples. An hour before I went to my drs to remove the staples, I took my pain medication that my dr prescribed me to help with the tenderness of the staples coming out and it did work as I didn't experienced that much discomfort during the removal. Two years later I am still battling fibroids, found out 3 months after my myo I had another fibroid measuring 4 cms and to this date the fibroid has remain that size. Which I have to say is nice especially with my first fibroid growing rapidly. Take care. > Hi everyone, > > I'm very nervous about getting my staples out tomorrow morning.
