She had a nice view of the mountains. She had a room service menu from which to choose her breakfast, lunch and dinner. She had flowers sitting on a shelf where she could enjoy their bright colors from where she sat in her bed. She had books on her nightstand and a television to watch. She did not have many visitors, however. Very few people knew she was in for surgery. She had gotten a bit worn down by all of the unasked for advice from women when she told them she was going in to have her uterus removed. read the rest here: http://www.santacruzsentinel.com/archive/2004/June/05/style/stories/03style.htm
