Hello LOL,

Are these two doctors lurk around the group and grasp email addresses

then send the email below? Anyone heard of the the twos or received the

same msg? I never knew that legit doctors do spam.

Jackie

Why Myo when you can have UAE?

Dearest Jacki,

My daughter lives in Atlanta, GA and 4 years was diagnosed with a

re-currency of Fibroid Tumors. She had a Myo and with the Myo fibroid

tumors return very rapidly.Four years ago She had a Uterine Artery

Embolization by Dr. Carson- 33 Upper Riverdale Rd. SW. Suit 105.

Riverdale GA 30274 Clayton County tel. (770)991-9729 Vascular

Interventional Radiology and was very successful. No Pain, no bleeding,

no weakness, no anemia, just great! an overnight in the hospital and

maybe 5 days to recover. Another good Radiologist is:Dr. Henry Krebs-

Radiology Associates of DeKalb, Division of Interventional Radiology,

Atlanta, GA. (404)501-1713 tell them that Simone Baxendale recommended

their names to you. Try it you like it. If I can be of some help jut

Jackie,

This individual member is no longer a member of this support group.

No, the doctors did not lurk on this group to gather the email

adddresses -- she did. And, of her own accord and NOT in conjunction

with or for the docs she's identified in this email. Normally I would

not post this publicly to the group -- but given she may have sent

similar email to many others here, I thought it important to share

this with everyone here. Gathering email addresses for

uninvited/unwanted offline correspondence (of any kind) to members of

this group is just not something we approve of here. If you do want

to send someone private email and they haven't said it was okay, the

first email you send to that person should include the question, " Is

it okay for me to write to you directly offline? "

This particular member joined a week ago and has sent numerous emails

to the group which we've redirected back to her with suggestions on

how to post a more appropriate email. Why? Because in each of her

posts she was directly telling women to NOT have a myomectomy and to

only have the UFE. In fact, she was quite insistent that women avoid

myomectomy in lieu of UFE and was demanding, directing, flat out

TELLING women what they should or should not do.

This kind of correspondence -- that which commands others to choose

one treatment over another -- is simply not what this group is about.

In redirecting her email, I've specifically tried to explain this to

her and given her examples of how to more appropriately communicate

her daughter's experiences so that it can be shared information on

this group that women can weigh in on for themselves. She has refused

to comply with this request and, instead, embarked upon sending out

private email to the members here.

My sincerest apologies to any of you who may have received this email

from Olga offline. We do not approve of this type of activity on this

group and have taken steps to correct the problem.

Please do not blame the physicians she has named in her attempt to

refer you to a doctor who does UFE. They were clueless innocents in

this online activity.
