Although anyone can create a poll on this group and ask just about anything they want (related to fibroids!), a poll on race needs to fit standard epidemiological racial categories and have the capacity for any given woman to fill in their race(s) if need be. Our polling system does not allow for this latter requirement and I, personally, find the category of " other " a wee bit offensive, particularly in light of my Choctaw and Cherokee heritage AND for the simple fact that this group has members from all over the world participating on it. If you would like to continue to pursue the collection of this data for this group, please consult with me prior to designing and posting the poll to the group. Thank you.
