I am 2 weeks post myo today. I am still not allowed to

pick up anything heavy, including my 25 lb daughter. I

have been having a lot of pain in my lower right side.

I called the dr yesterday and the nurse told me to

stop doing too much. I have not really been doing

anything except picking up small objects off of the

floor and i always bend my knees. She said the

squatting could be causing the pain. Anyone else have

pain like this after surgery? The only thing that

relieves it is lying down. I am not sure why the pain

is in the lower right side, isn't the uterus in the

middle.? It is not pain from the incision.

It is pain from the incision but more internal,,why in Gods name are you

squatting down ..your only 2 weeks post op..Your crazy!!!!

You need to take it easy from now on.;this is a very critical time after the

surgery..woudlnt you rather heal earlier or would you prefer to delay the

healing process...?

The choice is yours

Amy,

Check with the nurse again about the location of the pain. I was told

the reason before but now forgot. I am not sure if your squatting down

really is the cause. Do anything you can now to help ease the pain but

of cause you need to get up here and there. If the pain is not

improving, demand to see the doctor.

Hi, I had myo in November and still have a little pain when I sneeze,

cough or what not on my right side. I followed my own rule after

surgery of " if it hurts stop doing it " Jan g.
