Wow, Ann - so sorry to hear about your fall. Just what you needed! Hope all

goes well with you and that you can bounce back, painlessly, real soon.

Best wishes, your brunch-buddy Edie

Subject: I just need to complain

Sunday morning I fell down the stairs (only a few but enough to hurt

myself);

The thing that is annoying me is that my fibroid was disgruntled by

the jarring and is complaining now.

Ann, I am sorry to hear about your injuries!!!

about the head ache thing, I know how you feel!! I have been getting very bad

migrains lately and they are NONONO fun !!

I have 5 kids and when I get them, I am totaly down.

which makes these kids feel like they are going to get away with murder..

" look mom is down, lets party!!! " lol

I too have a complaint also,,,

what is up with these darn ultrasounds that makes you drink 10 gallons of

water, and then tell you that you havent drank enough, and they cant do the test

until you drink some more. (the day I went in, I was on a tight sceduale,

right after my appt my son had an emergancy dentist appt.) So I was chugging

even

more water and told them to check me again because I needed to go, that Dang

nurse had the nerve to tell me I would have to rescedule, because she was

taking another pactient!!!!!! you know for the next 1-2 hours I was running to

the

bathroom every 5 mins!!! mind you I was not at home, I was at the dentists

office with my son. None the less I have not resceduled another appt. I would

just rather not know if I have fibroids or not.

lol

Thanks for letting me rant and rave

Hi Ann,

I'm so sorry to hear about your fall and subsequent pains.

I hope you feel better very soon!

I wanted to thank you again for planning the Seattle Meetup. It was

great to meet you and talk to you there.

My friend who went through what you're going through would be glad to

talk to you, email me if you want her number/email.

My surgery is in 5 days and I am SO ready for it. I have been

bleeding and cramping non-stop for 3 weeks now! And as an added bonus

I can't take any Ibuprophen for the pain and Tylenol does nothing for

me.

Wow, I guess I needed to whinge too!

Sunday morning I fell down the stairs (only a few but enough to

hurt myself);

The thing that is annoying me is that my fibroid was disgruntled by

the jarring and is complaining now. I think it will settle down in

a few days but who wants to hear from a complaining fibroid when you

already have a headache!

Speaking of ultrasounds: I like the fact that in the movies and on TV

when they show the " happy mothers " getting an untrasound to see their

baby, they never elude to the fact that the mother is probably in

pain because she has to pee so badly!

Yeah, my first ultrasound with my daughter was at 17 weeks'

gestation, and I drank way too much water before that visit.

Fortunately, the ultrasound technician let me pee a bit before she

started. No matter how full my bladder was, though, it felt magical

watching her heart beat on the ultrasound, and when she wiggled her

toes at us, I just about melted.

When the baby reaches a certain size, the mother no longer needs to

drink anything before the ultrasound. However, it's a trade-off--at

that point, the baby's weight makes it uncomfortable for the mother

to be on her back for any length of time. Luckily, most ultrasound

techs understand and will let the mother lie on her side if she gets

uncomfortable.

I was so glad to be done with ultrasounds for a while when my

daughter was born. Since she was so overdue (16 days), toward the end

of the pregnancy I had ultrasounds twice a week.
