Guest guest
Can this be accessed only to AOL members? I'm not able to open up the link. -----Original Message----- An article on AOL news. We know not to blindly acquiesce when our gyn tells us his (or her) opinion on our options, but this is scary. If you can't even trust them to do a simple exam, what are we supposed to do? I feel really sorry for these women. I hope he gets whats coming to him. http://aolsvc.news.aol.com/news/article.adp? id=20040604172709990005&_mpc=news%2e10%2e1 Sandi
Guest guest
Hey all, " Been there had that " during my long myo doc search but not quite to that extreme. I think we should be " on guard " anytime we see a new gyn and if asked if you're in a relationship say YES!!! even if it's a lie and give him a hulky name like Bruno or Thor, " who's just happens to be waiting for you outside in his monster truck " . Remember that if you choose this Dr. you can correct that info. later. I was newly without my SO when all this fibroid biz started and think that my honesty about that also lead to my many hyst recommendations as well as the funky exams. If I could go back in time I'd have enlisted a male buddy as a stand in. I'm not okay with lies or especially good at lying but I wish I'd made an exeption...hind sight. JanG PS-Little scared after reading that very moving papsmear story but my dr said you don't have to have hyst for cervical cancer. I have clear margins today:)Formally cin3. Thanks for posting that extra important info.

Dear LOL, I found the article on the CNN Homepage also. In your browser type www.cnn.com then about a third of the way down the page is the heading US News, it is listed there, as the third item. It may move to another spot, as CNN updates their page frequently, but you should be able to find it if you click on the headings and look at the topics. Sorry for the hunt, ladies.
