Guest guest Posted March 6, 2004 Report Share Posted March 6, 2004 Hi ladies, My name is Kim and i'm 45. I have been bleeding for 31 days and finally had an ultra sound last night at the urgent care. It seems I have a submucosal fibroid and the attending Dr. told me that I would have to have a hysterectomy. I was anemic and dehydrated. I started hrp a couple of years ago, but was taken off of them when i was dx with lupus. Because of the lupus they don't want to stop my bleeding with hormones and my escrow closes Monday or Tuesday. I really do need to get some stuff done and wondered if there is any one who has found something other than staying off of my feet to slow the bleeding down until I can get to the Dr. on Monday. Also I would like to know if there is anyone who also has been dx with lupus, and what their options were. I have put off neck surgery for a removal of a disc and bone spurs that are sitting on a nerve root until after our move, and wondered if any one knows a good obgyn who is also a nurosurgeron? lol.
