Guest guest Posted April 8, 2004 Report Share Posted April 8, 2004 Hi All, Just wondering if there is a difference btw a hysteroscopy and a resection. I've heard many of you mention that you've had resection surgery. I'm trying to avoid a myo and if this is a less invasive procedure I'd be very interested. My RE recommended first a hysteroscopy to check things out and if needed a myo right after. I believe my submucosal fibroid is the one causing problems (5cm) since I'm unable to conceive (it's blocking a fallopian tube). Is it too large for resection? Any information would be helpful.
