Nyckee,

Most of us have been through similar experiences in our attempts to get help, so

we can understand your frustration.

I am 49 and am 3 months post-ab myo tomorrow. It was one of the best things

I've ever done. I was lucky enough to find Dr. , who is awesome. He

gives you all of the options - and there are several. For me, the best option

was an ab myo, and I can already tell that for the first time in years - can't

even remember when, really - that I'm not either getting ready to start, or in

the middle of an awful-time period, or getting ready to try and end one before

another one hits. For as long as I can remember I've been in the midst of one,

with the horrible cramps, back aches, nausea, etc. Add the bulk-causing

symptoms of large fibroids and you get no only the lovely looking protruding

stomach that makes all of your clothes hurt trying to fit, but numerous trips to

the bathroom, and on and on.

As of today I can honestly say that I feel pretty great! My doctor told me to

wait through 3 cycles and I should be able to see what my " normal " would be, and

wouldn't you know - my last (3rd) cycle was unbelievably normal...manageable

cramping, no back aches or nausea...plus, although my tummy is still swollen

from the surgery (he said he expects mine to be down at the 6 months marker)I

do not have the bulk-causing symptoms of gastrointestinal troubles and frequent

trips to the bathroom throughout the night (and day), etc.

I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. . I would highly suggest making an

appointment to talk with him. You'll be surprised at how good you will feel

coming out of that first meeting!

Good luck and feel free to contact me off line if you wish.

Subject: Help

Help does anyone know a doctor in the Los Angeles area that can really help me?

I am desperate! I am 43 no children and about to be married for the first time,

if my fiance doesn't leave me, from not being able to have sex!
