Guest guest
Hey, when I had my transvaginal ultrasound they told me the same thing. So I called the doctor and told him how concerned I was. He called and got a verbal report over the phone. So maybe you can ask you doctor to do that. Good luck. Guest guest
Pokergirl, It usually takes about 48 hours for your doc to receive u/s or sonogram results. At least my doc anyways. I know those technicians will not tell you anything. I had an u/s 3 weeks ago and the tech would not say a word. It is frustrating to have to wait for the results, but it isn't that long. Guest guest
When I had my first u/s in September 2002 my doctor at the time told me " I feel this fullness on the right side -- but I don't think its cancer " CANCER?! WHAT?!? So she orders me an u/s the next day with the results stat (or something like that, that means immediately). So I go back to the office and after 3 hours I call and ask for the doctor and my results. I get no call and 3 calls later the nurse calls to ask if the doctor got back to me and I said no. So she tells me over the phone that I have a 9cm fibroid. I get off the phone and just have a totally melt down in my office. I'm trying to have a baby, my sister- in-law is delivering her first baby that week and I have a thing growing in my uterus. So I start looking online for information and everthing says hysterectomy, miscarriage, pain. I'm beside myself. And, I don't get a call until Friday evening since my doctor called and left a message at my house during the day. I was so angry with her, she knew we were trying to have a baby and that she even would utter the word cancer and then not get me the results the same day. Shame on her. I switched doctors right away and never spoke to the first doc again. I just needed to vent about it. I hope that your u/s results come quickly and that it is only good news.
