Lo-ovral full of estrogen?

I am new to the group and have been diagnosed with a 6cm fibroid. I have been on

Lo-ovral b.c. pills for 10 years. I was just reading the packet that comes with

the pills and it says it contains higher doses of estrogen than other oral

contraceptives. Isn't that what we know makes fibroids grow is estrogen? I have

had one Dr. say I should get off them b/c of that . But then 2 Dr. say no thats

silly. Who is a girl to believe? My own common sense says duh! Estrogen= fibroid

growth then that = me off lo-ovral. Any one have any advice? And does anyone

believe that being on the pill for so long could have caused your fibroid? thank

you for your help! I am sooooooo glad I have found this group!
