I had a D&C 3 years ago after I was told that the

pregnancy was non-viable and I would miscarry - I was

10 weeks pregnant. This was when they first discovered

my fibroid on the ultrasound scan. It's a very simple

procedure and I think it's very common too- certainly

in UK. I went back to work after a week- but this was

partly due to the emotional impact.
