Looking for a Dr. West in CT

Hi to this wonderful fibroid group:

I had a super successful myomectomy with Dr. West last July and couldn't being

doing and feeling better. He is one of the very finest surgeons for fibroid

removal and any of you ladies, who are about to have surgery with him, can rest

assured that you are in the best of hands. And it is thanks to this great group

that I found out about him and was able to make one of the wisest and most

empowering choices ever regarding my health.

I presently have a student (I am a dance teacher), who is suffering from her

very large fibroids herself (anemic, heavy bleeding, pain) and would love to go

to Dr. West but cannot afford his fees. Finances are very tight for her.

I know there is only one Dr. West, but does anyone know of any other surgeons of

similar expertise, caliber and experience in Connecticut or NY? My student

wants to have surgery under the hands of a great surgeon but one that she can

afford or one, who accepts her insurance.

I would appreciate any info, referrals, recommendations from this very wise and

informed group.

Good luck to all the ladies with upcoming myos. You don't know how much better

you will feel once you can put all of these fibroid issues behind you.

Hi la,

I think your student is very lucky to be in connecticut, as there are

numerous surgeons who do myo in that state. I almost went to conn.

for my myo. try NewHaven.
