DC MEETING THIS SATURDAY 5/22

Hello there everyone!

This is just a reminder that the meet up for DC-area women will be

this weekend at the and Noble (on Clarendon Blvd) in

Arlington, VA, at 4:30. I am very much looking forward to meeting

with you all, and seeing both some familiar and new faces. There is

no set agenda, there is no set leader, there isn't even an official

list of attendees... just people, gathering together, talking about

their experiences with the lovely uterine squatters. I have been

exploring the homeopathic and acupuncture route for the treatment of

my fibroids, whereas others have gone the surgical route, etc. It's

great to just get together and exchange information and, well, TALK.

About any and everything. So, come and gather with us, have some

coffee, tea, chai, whatever!

A bit ironically, I need to say that I will be late for the meeting.

One of my students has a dance recital on Saturday and I would hate

to miss it. This came up rather suddenly, and the child didn't tell

me until today what time the show was (very typical of a middle

schooler!). The recital starts at 3, and goes until I am not sure

when. As soon as she has danced in her last piece, I am out of

there! So, I will do my darnedest to get down to Arlington at a

reasonable time, because I equally hate to miss this meeting. I

always feel really good about things after I leave, like I am not

alone and crazy.
