Guest guest
Yes, you can have your myo during menstruation. Check with your doctor -- they might have a preference, particularly if your fibroids are inside your uterine cavity. But my period was due when I had my myo scheduled, I told my doc, he said it made no difference at all (my fibroid was entirely on the outside of the uterus). The funniest part was that I was very concerned pre-surgery about walking from the pre-op area to the OR without a pad, and then the possibility of waiting and bleeding on the operating table before the surgery. I told the wonderfully helpful nurse, who brought me a disposable semi-paper-fabric pantie/pad thing that was all pre-folded and it was like some kind of wierd puzzle to figure out how to open it up and put it on, I was sitting on the toilet in the bathroom feeling like it was a test I had to pass before I could proceed to surgery (no, I wasn't yet on any drugs). So then she walked me to the OR, which turned out to be about 10 feet away, I climbed up on the table, they had me take off and throw away the silly paper-fabric- instant pantie thing that I had just put so much effort into putting on in the bathroom two doors away, and I was out within 10 minutes. It was really pretty funny. Sunny -- In uterinefibroids , " dolly7761 " wrote: > I was wondering if you can still have a myo during your > menstruation.
