Guest guest
I am considering taking fish oil supplements (long-chain omega 3 fatty acids) for non-fibroid related benefits. Of course, whenever I consider taking something new, I need to find out the potential interaction/affect on my fibroids (which are on the smaller side, both submucosal and intracavitary, and now causing heavy bleeding/clotting during menstruation). Does anyone have any experience (or references to point me to) on whether or not fish oil supplements (high-quality pharma grade) at low levels (less than 2.5 grams per day) INCREASE or otherwise affect heavy menstrual bleeding due to presence of fibroids? Thx, Jean
