Guest guest
Hello. I'm 26 years old and have been suffering with pain from fibroids for about 4 years. I have been to different doctors and they have all taken the watch and wait approach. They have put me on several anti-inflammatories, which do not make the pain subside. The fibroids' sizes are small and there are only two, but we all know location is everything when it comes to symptoms. My periods are normal and very regular, however the pain 2 during the 2 weeks before my cycle is debilitating. I recently (Sunday) began taking Seasonale birth control, in hopes that not having a period for 3 months would help. Since then, I have continued having cramps like the ones I have before my period. Has anyone ever taken this type of pill, or had overlapped prescriptions. Did it increase the pain? I would like to know if this is just my body getting used to the hormones, or if this pain will become a permanent fixture. Please advise. Thanks so much!
