I first heard about this treatment in a Dear Abby column.

Ivory Soap is 99 and 44/100 percent pure. I know because all their ads say

so. It even floats.

When I was a kid and we spent the day in the garden pulling weeds or picking

tomatoes or anything else that was ready for harvest and if we did it

without grumbling and fighting the reward was to go to the river for a bath

that evening. Someone always brought the Ivory soap because it floats and

we wouldn't lose it. Oh! To be young again! If only the promise of a trip

to the river still brought the same kind of excitement and joy. Now it

takes a two week cruise on the ocean and thousands of dollars to make one

this happy, I guess. I've never had that pleasure so I can't be sure but I

bet it could never feel as good as shivering on that river bank with blue

lips while having your nice clean hair towel dried.
