Heavy period after a myo. Is it normal?

I have my first period one week after my abdominal myo. I think the

timing is correct, but the bleeding is quite heavy. I had heavy

bleeding for too long before for the surgery that I was looking forward

to some light days, but now I am so disappointed. Should I wait until

next month and see or should I contact my doctor? After a myo, is it

normal to still have heavy menstruation? Should I be concerned?

You will not have a light period right away..It can take anywhere from 3-6

cycles before you see a controllable period..It takes a couple months for your

cycle to regulate..

Thank you for calming me down. I panicked over nothing! My bleeding is

very low today. And so far, I have no pain at all.

It takes a couple months for your cycle to regulate..
