Guest guest
lol ill do the card thing again this yr but i felt left out on the gift i didnt get mine lol but the lady had sum problems come up so i dont mind Christmas Card Exchange Question As most of you ladies know, we usually do a Christmas Card Exchange each year. I wanted to see how many people would be interested in doing it again this year. The one thing I ask is that if you do sign up for the card exchange, please be courteous and also send out cards. The way we do it is like this: anyone who is interested in being a part of the exchange would e-mail me their full name and address, and I will compile a list based on those e-mails. Then I send out the list to the group once a week beginning in early November. Usually we have the cut off for signing up be the week before Thanksgiving. Anyway, then each person who is on the list would send out a Christmas card to each of the others on the list. Like I said, I only ask that if you want to RECEIVE cards, that you also SEND cards. We have also done Ornament Exchanges in previous years, but that was organized by a person other than myself who is no longer in the group. The Ornament Exchanges in past years did not work out exactly as they should have, as there were some ladies who did not receive an ornament from their Ornament Buddy. What I was thinking is this: for anyone who is interested in the exchanges, they can participate in the Card Exchange, the Ornament Exchange, Both Exchanges, or Neither Exchange. It is not mandatory to participate at all in either one, but I only want people who are genuinely interested to sign up. This will help to avoid someone feeling left out if for some reason their Ornament Buddy fails to send them anything. You do not have to spend much money on the ornament, just pick something inexpensive, but special, to send to whoever I match you up with. The Card Exchange, each person will send out a card to EVERY other person on the list. The Ornament Exchange, I will match each person up with an Ornament Buddy and each person will only have to send ONE person an ornament.
