Guest guest
Hi..Can someone give me a reader's digest version of why antibiotics are bad for our kids? We are all sick this AM and headed to a new doctor and I honestly can't seem to remember the explanation I knew so well for so long and no time to look it up in the book or online before we go. Thanks for helping a foggy brained mom out this AM!
Guest guest
Antibiotics kill the good bacteria in the gut, allowing yeast and/or bad bacteria to flourish. > Hi..Can someone give me a reader's digest version of why antibiotics > are bad for our kids? Guest guest
You can ask for antibiotic injections if antibiotics are needed, though. Also, if ANYONE needs to take oral antibiotics, it is a good idea to take a probiotic, too, to replenish the " good bugs. " Some pharmacies even have signs saying: " Antibiotics? Don't forget the probiotics!!! Some docs who prescribe antibiotics to adult women will give a 2nd Rx for anti-yeast meds to use if a vaginal yeast infection follows the antibiotics--- because this happens pretty frequently. good wishes, Moria
