Guest guest
Good morning, ladies. I am wondering if any of you have had any experiences with a Dr. Wood-Molo, an RE at Rush University Hospital in Chicago? Good, bad, or indifferent? She has mullerian anomalies listed in her bio as an area of special interest. I found one post on the INCIID boards thanking her for successful IVF treatment, but other than that, I've only come across her name in a few medical journal type articles. Thanks! Ann (the offices of the other RE that I contacted, a Dr. Edmond Confino at Northwestern University, have yet to respond to my appointment request - if any of you have info on him, that would be helpful, too!) Guest guest
Hmmm. . . at the risk of sounding like I'm talking to myself. . . I just wanted to pass along that I met with Dr. Wood-Molo yesterday, and she was PHENOMENAL. She has tons of experience dealing with MAs, and is very keen on being pro-active in dx'ing and correcting them. She listened to all of my concerns, confirmed that my other doc was wrong to disregard my request for additional testing, and is getting me in for an MRI NEXT WEEK with resection soon to follow. She has great bedside manner, is funny, and VERY, VERY current on MA literature. For the first time since I was told I had an MA (in early June), I am feeling confident that I have a doctor who will get me through this. We'll see how things go, but at this point, I highly recommend her. Ann (p.s. I really like the fact that she recommends Valium for HSG patients. . . particularly after having my HSG on Monday. . . I wish I had been offered that option!) (p.p.s. I never did hear back from the other doctor that I contacted. All for the better, I guess!) > Good morning, ladies. > > I am wondering if any of you have had any experiences > with a Dr. Wood-Molo, an RE at Rush University > Hospital in Chicago?
