I was 33 in Feb. 2003 when I was diagnosed with a 3cm fibroid, which grew considerably when I was pregnant. I miscarried in Feb. 2004 at 9 weeks. The 2 periods I have had so far have been lighter and shorter with no clots. I am not doing anything in the way of alternate therapies, I just think my body is not yet back to 'normal'. I don't feel as though the fibroids have shrunk as I am still only able to wear the larger clothes I had to buy during pregnancy and my uterus still measured 18 weeks when I had an HSG test done on 4/6. Now, I am not saying that this is the same for you at all! Do you feel 'smaller' with less pressure than before? I thought about alternates, but don't feel that I have the time to wait for them to help as I am nearing my 35th birthday and can hear the clock ticking very loudly, but maybe I should reconsider. Guest guest
Your bleeding is normal again because you're on the pill. But you have to watch it because the pill can sometimes make the fibroids grow faster (the hormones your body produces during pregnancy makes the fibroids grow faster, after pregnancy the hormones you produce makes the fibroids shrink). My doctor won't put me on the pill because she says it can make the fibroids go either way. Where is your fibroid? If it is submucosal you might want to find out about hysteroscopic myomectomy. Good luck with trying to have a baby. One doctor told me that women will have the fibroids removed and then try to get pregnant six months later. I am 30 and about to have the hysteroscopic myomectomy. No kids and hope to have one someday. I am on birth control pills, so that could help. > I keep record of evertyhing. Guest guest
I am having a HSG soon, beginning of June. I needed to wait until 7- 10 day of my cycle. A
