Guest guest
Hi , I'm not UD, I'm T-shaped, but I went thru the same thing trying to find a BCP that didn't have major side effects. I think it took a full 2yrs of trying new pills every 3mos before I finally found Aleese (low estrogen) that didn't give me major nausea, or migraines, or chest pains. Once I found Aleese, I stuck with it for 7yrs. I never had break thru bleeding and my periods were only 3-4days of light bleeding, very minimal cramping. I know that everybody's chemistry is a little different and I have the hormone imbalance of PCOS to deal with, but maybe the Aleese would work for you. The only side effects I noticed were slight weight gain (but that could be because after high school I wasn't playing as many sports) and a little bit of extra hair loss. Nothing major, but then again that could have been because of my PCOS. I hope you find an answer soon. I know how frustrating irregular periods are, I've been dealing with it any time I've been off BCPs since I was 12yrs old. Good luck! She put me on Yasmin to help with the two periods a month. Well I have been on Yasmin a month and instead of two one week periods I have been bleeding for four weeks now. What birth control pills has everyone tried and what one's have you had luck with. I have been on about 10 different ones over the last 8 years and they all seem to give me migrains. I have been off the pill for over a year and decided to go back on to help with the frequent periods. I am starting my off week tomorrow, knowing my luck I will stop bleeding the week I am suppose to. So I don't know if I should just give it time and do another month of this pill. My current MD told me to go to the RE, which I had planned to anyway, but I can't get in for over a month.
