Guest guest
It will probably be as equally effective as the other drugs you've already taken. Naproxen is just prescription Aleve, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory. I myself was prescribed Celebrex (did nothing), Bextra (ditto) and Naproxen (ditto). At best, I get a slight reduction in pain that kicks in about an hour and a half after I take a dose, and lasts for about 3-4 hours (even though relief is supposed to last 12 hours). -
Guest guest
I have been using Naproxen for years!!! It's great for cramps & usually starts working within 1/2 hour. You must take it with food or milk but I highly recommend it! sonya jennings sljcsu@...> wrote:Hey Ladies, I talked with my doctor again about giving me something yet again to help me deal with unbearable cramps...I was first prescribed , vioxx(didnt work), then given (bextra)..I didnt even bother to refill...i got 50 tablets & took all 50 during 1 period.. Guest guest
Hi, i used Naproxen for years also and had great results. I was told I needed to get a level up so I would start taking it several days before i expected to get cramps. I had to take it with food or milk as it is really hard on your stomach.
