Guest guest
I've been gone for a couple days and just got home to an email from our practitioner that tells me that there has been enough severe skin reactions with the TD DMPS that the manufacturer is not selling DMPS to compounding pharmacies anymore. What is up? Does anyone know?
Guest guest
, I don't have any info on this, but I just wanted to say that I'm interested in the answer too. My DAN dr has suggested TD DMPS for us, so I'm interested in the answer too. Is Andy OK with TD DMPS, I know he says oral is ok in the right dosage... But is DMSA supposed to be better? We've been chelating with ALA/DMSA for 9 months using Andy's protocol. We got the gut bugs way down, started chelating 9 months ago, and are now having to take a break to get the bugs back down. My dr wants to go with DMSA to keep the gut bugs down... I'm thinking I may want to stick with the old protocol and just take the occasional break to fight the gut bugs. Any thoughts? > I've been gone for a couple days and just got home to an email from our > practitioner that tells me that there has been enough severe skin reactions > with the TD DMPS that the manufacturer is not selling DMPS to compounding > pharmacies anymore. > > What is up? Guest guest
The practitioner I saw follows Andy's protocol but from their discussion I got basically an ok to use the TD but in a different dosing protocol than Buttar. The biggest thing is here is that I had no idea how I was going to chelate my child until I found out about the TD. There is no way I am going to be able to get something orally down his throat 3x daily PLUS minerals and vitamins and keep that in his bloodstream. I cannot hide it from him, I've tried and tried and tried to hide vitamins and minerals, I cannot force it down his throat without him getting so upset over it that he'll just throw it all back up. (trust me I've been through this over something as simple a Motrin or benedryl) I'm really really worried now [ ] Re: TD-DMPS Prescribing Question Help?! , I don't have any info on this, but I just wanted to say that I'm interested in the answer too. Guest guest
Well another list is saying there is no issues. So I'll wait and see what my practitioner has to say.
