Guest guest
Patty, No it does not matter if you have your cycle during the myo. I started my cycle the day after my myo. One question for you why dont you look into the embolization. I know you dont get rid of them, but in four years after I had my myo my tumors came by full force. > >Reply-To: uterinefibroids >To: uterine fibroids uterinefibroids > >Subject: 2 questions >Date: Thu, 10 Jun 2004 15:18:13 -0700 (PDT) > >I have a couple of questions, as, i will be scheduling my myo sometime in >September. >Does it matter if you are having your period the day of the surgery? >What, if anything, do you use to put on your skin where the incision was >made? Guest guest
Hi, No it doesn't matter if you are bleeding the day of surgery, I flooded. You can try mederma for your incision. I'd use alcohol and take the bandage off ASAP. As soon as you get home. The bandage pulls on your incision every time you move causing pain and in my case, blisters that scared. I felt so much better once I removed it and could sleep. I can barely see my incision scar now. Guest guest
patty, In reference to the following question you asked: " I have a couple of questions, as, i will be scheduling my myo sometime in September. Does it matter if you are having your period the day of the surgery? What, if anything, do you use to put on your skin where the incision was made? Any special creams that are good? How soon after surgery? " No it does not matter if you are having your period. I was on my period the day of surgery and I asked. My doctor said it didn't matter. After the surgery I continue to have bleeding, but I do not know if it was from my period or the surgery, since I was told that vaginal bleeding is to be expected. I am still having spotting two weeks later. I have not put anything on my incision yet, but I was thinking of putting something on later. Of course I did not have stitches, but some kind of " crazy clue " which I assumed made it less painful. Not much irritation.
Guest guest
, It is very interesting to see that I'm not the only one whose fibroids returned within 4 years of having a myo. I'm 29 years old and I've already had two myos. I'm determined not to have a third one done. Angelina Abee wandsabee@...> wrote: Patty, No it does not matter if you have your cycle during the myo.
