Was Dr. Z saying the UAE wouldnt work in your case? The reason I am asking

the tumor I have is 20 weeks also. The IR I went to see and the one I am

going to go see this week said lets do a MRI to see where you stand. Of

course I didnt have any reports from OBGYN. In fact my OBGYN does not I

found this treatment. My OBGYN is suppose to call me today and I am going to

tell him. I was unable to make a appointment with him this week to talk to

him in person. Happy Birthday I turned 35 back in February, and I have had

fibriods since the mid 90's and in 98 I had a myomectomy and the tumors came

back within five years. If you will share me the information that you Dr.

told you please. I am very interested in knowing what he said.

Since I am intent upon having a child we did not discuss UAE at all,

only myos. At this point I don't care if I grow new ones in five

years, as long as I have a baby first. My ob-gyn 'busted' me going in

for my records. I had not told her that I was going to see an RE and

was just going to wait until the next time I saw her. But it figures

that the one and only time the entire waiting room was empty is when

I went to get my records and she was up behind the window chatting

with the nurse and saw me and wanted to know why I was there. Ouch!

e,

The intern was male. His name is Dr. Furr. It was amusing when I was

leaving he saw me walking down the hallway and glanced at my belly

like he wanted to see how big my belly looks when I'm standing. I

know 20cm is not *that* large compared to others here that have

multiple large fibs, but I must have been the largest to date he's

seen.

Hi, ,

Did you continue the same diet after your first Myo? What do you usually eat?

How did you discover the regrowth of fibroid? Does it grow at the same place,

same kind, similar symptom? I just had my Myo and I think I will be very careful

in what I eat, hoping to prevent the regrowth.

Thnks for any sharing.

Lai, I didnt change my eating habits. The first tumor I had was about the

size of a cantelope. I could actually lift the tumor up and it was on the

left side of my uterus but on the outside. The one I have now is higher up

but on the same size and growing the same way. This one is a lot bigger it

is the size of a newborn baby's head. To be honest I did not even know I had

one until the OBGYN done a yearly physical last February (2003). After I

knew I had it I could look at myself and I could see the difference between

my left and right side. The left side hangs down about a inch lower than the

right. I can not lift the tumor, but I can sure feel it. It is nothing but a

hard rock. I will tell you this after my myo I got pregnant the next March,

but I miscarry again. That was the second I had miscarry. Once before the

myo and once after the myo. I want to wish all of you the best of luck. It

could have been the way my doctor operated on me. I really dont know, but I

did read that on a web site while looking up information on fibroids. Take

care.
