Guest guest
Hi, ' I waited until my 6-week post op visit and my dr said " resume all normal activity " . Was bugged by the long duration as I'd read on the web that 2-weeks was the norm. Much better as in it's possible to enjoy this..I had huge fibroids in the way before. Still can't eat a big sub and have sex- docs don't has an answer for that one. JanG > Ok...now that I've got your attention.. > > 1. Guest guest
I had hysteroscopic and laparoscopic myos and was told to wait 4 weeks " before inserting anything into the vagina " (apologize for the graphic response).
Guest guest
Hi I was given written instructions to take home with me from the Day surgery post op area. My Doctor wrote to wait 2 weeks after my surgery before putting anything in my vagina, tampons, sex etc. I also had a 2 week follow up appt. not a 6 week. She did find my Uterus " was way to tender for a 2 week post op " and put me on antibiotics so I was glad I had the 2 week check. Cheryl > Ok...now that I've got your attention.. > > 1. Guest guest
My doctor told me to wait three weeks after my myomectomy for sex. I did notice that my drive was lower than normal probably because I was on lupron therapy before surgery. It was a little difficult for me to get back in the groove again just because I wasn't used to that type of contact. But with a patient husband we have brought it back to where it was before and are on our way back to TTC. > > 1. How long after a myo do you have to wait before resuming sex?
