Extra long periods after myo and shortened cervix ?'s

Hi all,

I had surgery in Nov. and at first my periods were shortened (3days)

but now I am having 9-day long periods...just plain unusual bleeding,

like in the shower or pool where that never happened before.

I'm not anemic and very glad I had the procedure but wondering why

the long heavy periods?

I had the normal for me 5-day periods before.

Also, had another doc tell me my cervix was shortened due to my

procedure but all is feeling better than normal there so not sure

what that means but myo surgeon says " it's just your anatomy " but my

anotomy used to read normal on the reports.
