Dear Blue,

Thank you so much for your information, it is fantastique! Who was your

surgeon?

In case newer members of this group would like to know of

another successful resection, mine, which was done last May,

stopped my excess bleeding immediately. I had a

pendunculated uterine polyp that measured a whopping 9 cm.

removed - it caused tremendous bleeding with clots during the

most harrowing time of my life. My periods have been pretty light

since then - the worst day is the first real day, as I still have other

fibroids and the uterine walls don't do a good job of contracting

to regulate blood flow, but it's a vacation compared to what I had

before.

My surgeon was Dr. Jody Blanco (male) in New York City, and I

was at Columbia-Presbyterian Hospital.
