Guest guest
Kim, I understand being completely discouraged but I doubt you're as bad off as me...One baby is all I wanttoo. You should go to a reproductive endocrinologist. I am not saying that it is all sunshine and roses that you or I can have a baby but, maybe... and I don't know if you are in pain as well, have symptoms, so maybe a 2nd myo isn't crazy. Maybe there are other women on this list who have had 2 myos who can offer insight? A lot of people on here have recommended this post-myo TTC group for those of us who want to conceive but be warned there is no activity. I joined weeks ago and have probably received 3 postings. Maybe that's because it IS extremely rare...there are definitely sad stories and I do wonder how hopeless, expensive and painful things have to get for me to " give up. " My doctor (Zinaman, probably one of the best myo surg in Midwest) says I have thousands of fibroids. I am in a different position than a lot of women on this list because it is so severe. He has done 1000 myos and only 1 has been as bad as me, and she had a hyst. He is going to remove some of the fibroids. If he removed all of them there'd be no uterus left (or just " hamburger, " as he put it). If the myo goes okay, I am going to try to conceive (TTC). I don't want to join the hyster-sisters site, at least not yet...I want to stay on this list! Cyndi in Chicago myo this July good luck to the other Cyndi with a myo this May!
