pseudoephedrine is chemically similar and occurs in the same plant and

other plants, but most of what is in pills is synthetic.

Typically one uses a 30 mg tablet (the little red things) every 4-6

hours, stopping well before bedtime.

The red coloring usually washes off nicely under running water, or some

tablets can be found without coloring.

If you are very sensitive you might find half a tab adequate.

Unlike ephedrine, pseudoephedrine does not elevate mood or relieve

discomfort, it only creates energy. It also dries the mucous

membranes.

Thank you Andy! I started today with the pseudoephedrine and got

more energy than I remember having in a decade. :) Is there any side

effect to consider and perhaps counteract?

Ingrid:

I am not feeling depressed, so it is fine with me to get just

energy. What I notice some moments when I chelate is that my

feelings are richer. I can't wait to see what life looks like

without mercury. I think I am going to have a blast.:)

I am chelating both my son and myself. I was the one looking for

controling the fatige. I read that SAMe gives energy, and it is used

to chelate antimony, I believe. I would give a young child SAMe, but

I probably wouldn't give him pseudoephedrine.

It is stimulating and can " burn you out " like all stimulants.

it suppresses certain parts of the immune system mildly, which is why

it is so useful for allergies and colds.

It elevates blood pressure a bit.

Lots of adrenal support would be appropriate to take with it.
