How painful was the vaginal hysterectomy? I have had two c-sections,

plus one additional abdominal surgery, and it wasn't pleasant. But

for some reason the idea of yanking my uterus out through the vagina

sounds even worse. What has your recovery been like so far?

A friend of mine had a vaginal hyst earlier this year, plus she had

her bladder repaired. She couldn't believe how great she felt after

the surgery. She had a good recovery. After 4 weeks, she thought she

could go back to her job (computer work) part time. After a few

days, she realized that she should have taken the 6 wks off.
