Guest guest
I would go for the 2nd opinion and see what that doc says. That is what I did. I too kept asking the doc how I would know if my fibroids were cancer. Both docs I saw said they are probably fibroids but couldn't be 100% certain. My symptoms came on very suddenly and very intense (heavy bleeding/clotting/long periods, pain, etc). After a horrible gushing episode that took me to the ER, I had a D&C with hysteroscopy and biopsy to confirm the fibroids and see what was going on in there. That confirmed no cancer, just fibroids. But " just fibroids " as the doc said could be very debilitating. Have you had a ultrasound or MRI or biopsy?
