I have been dealing with this problem for a while now. I am 35 years old with no kids. My doctor said that he does not want me to have a hysterectomy but he haven't suggested anything else. I get very depressed sometimes, especially when I am bleeding. My period last sometimes for a month or longer. Last March I had a blood transfusion and I take iron pills 3 times a day.
