Guest guest
so is mine (retroverted). it may have been part of the reason that they were not able to do my surgery by laparoscopy. they could not reach the areas that they needed to reach. having an AB. myo, on the other hand was no problem. as i understand it, with an ab myo they have access to any part of the uterus and the positioning does not matter. -- In uterinefibroids , " norc15 " wrote: > my uterus is completely retroverted. Guest guest
< Does anyone know if having a tilted uterus has any negative effect on having an abdominal myo?> Last year a whole bunch of us on this forum discovered that we all had a tilted uterus. Then someone pointed out that this was probably due to the fibroids (have I got that right?). Do a seach on it and these posts might show up. " Hi all When I was 19, just became active and had my first pap smear, I was told that my uterus was retroverted. My gynie told me that usually this is caused by having babies, or weakened ligaments. But recently I read that some women are actually born with the uterus in the retroverted position. I think I am one of them. Even after having it suspended last June it just went back to where it was before. Suziedee
