Guest guest
Carla, I just signed up...and right at the top was... Yup, our dear friends.....aaackk! Embolization Risks....sponsered by HERS....Listing adverse risks such as...DEATH....sigh It makes me sick how HERS keeps this misinformation service going on UAE/UFE. They present themselves as a Advocacy Site, but they are no more than an AD AGENCY for their own limited group of docs. Sigh... Night all. Guest guest
I took a look at this, but didn't sign up. I had signed up with them for thyroid last year, and found my email address published smack on the web, and unsubscribed as soon as I saw that. So....you might want to check this out and make sure you're comfortable with it. Gerri > I just signed up...
Guest guest
> > I just signed up... Email addresses are NOT published on the web via Meet Up. In fact, you have the option of not allowing anyone to email you at all from that group by putting out only a nickname as a visual to others. Furthermore, should you CHOOSE to allow others to email you via the Meet Up system, they cannot do so directly via your email addy as it is hidden to everyone. It's a redirect from the Meet Up site to protect your email address from those who might choose to spam you. At any time you can even remove that option by updating your Profile via the Profile link.
