Hi!

I have a few questions, I hope I don't sound weird.

About 12 days ago I started to feel sick (nausea) in the morning (I am

8 wks preg) but it has disapeared two days ago. I do still have less

appetite in the morning and in the evening.

I also lost a little blood yesterday (I've had normal dicharge with a

little blood in it)

My breasts still feel sensitive and my temp. didn't drop.

I also feel little cramps in my bladder? (in the middle) when I go to

the toilet.

Next wednesday I'll have my first U/S but I'm feeling so worried!

Has anyone eperienced this?

Thanks a lot.

I had the same thing happen. I bled in the beginning (like a bloody nose)

after 3 days it went away. Then when I was 8weeks along same as you

describe. They said the crampy feeling could just be your ligaments

stretching as our uterus are differently shapped then everyone else. I also

had bleeding later on in my pregnancy. If you are really worried or if the

bleeding picks up, call your doctor right away...maybe they can see you

sooner. Remember that is what they are there for!

Here is also a clip from a website I found helpful:

Slight spotting or cramping: If you are pregnant, light pink spotting can

occur at the time of implantation -- when the embryo attaches to the lining

of the uterus. This happens around eight to ten days following ovulation, a

bit earlier than your menstrual period is due. You can usually differentiate

implantation bleeding from your menstrual period if it occurs a bit earlier

than expected, if it is scanty, spotty, pinkish (and not red and heavy like

a period), and does not follow the normal pattern of a period (light,

progressing to heavy and then again to light). Cramping can also be common

in early pregnancy. Until the uterus assumes its mid-position and becomes

better supported by the bony pelvis in the second trimester, it is prone to

menstrual-like cramping. Contractions of the uterus occur regularly,

increasing with exercise, orgasm and even simple changes in position. The

placenta also begins making the hormones estrogen and progesterone by the

7th or 8th week of pregnancy. This can sometimes cause spotting during

pregnancy.

I hope that helps you.

Good luck and keep thinking positive thoughts.

Hi Tessa

I've been meaning to check in with you actually. I would not be too

concerned about your m/s going away. Mine has come and gone, I

experienced a day of a little red bleeding that turned to brown and

everything turned out to be fine. The only time to really worry is

if you feel that you have a lot of pain followed by a lot of blood.

But if it would make your feel better maybe you can ask for doc. for

an ultrasound. I had one at 7 wks. just because the doctor wanted

to see where the baby implanted and then one at 9 wks. after I had

some spotting. Both were fine and so reassuring.

woops. I just read that you are having an ultrasound on Wed. I'm

sure everything will be fine and you'll probably get to see the

heartbeat which is so amazing. Make sure to write in after your

ultrasound and let me know how it went.
