Guest guest
Has anyone had a myo, and still continued to experience heavy menstrual bleeding? I am considering myo, my only symptom right now is heavy menstual bleeding (enough so that it is impacting the quality of life)and i am wiling to do this surgery if the heavy periods will stop. I'm just wondering if there is a chance that the myo won't end this condition. Thanks, Terri
Guest guest
Terri if you dont mind me asking how old are you and do you have any children? I also only have very heavy bleeding no other symptoms. I am 38 with no children and dont know if I ever want any. My gyno has said the size of my fibroids would make it impossible to carry a baby and by leaving them they are only going to grow and make my chances later worse. Guest guest
I was hemmoraging not having a period by the time I had my first myo when the idiot did not remove the tumor. I kept bleeding until the second myo which actually was a real myo. As long as your Doctor actually removes the tumor you will be fine. I am no longer bleeding daily but have yet to have my first period so I cannot talk about that experience yet. --- tldk_2000 tkilmartin@...> wrote: > Has anyone had a myo, and still continued to > experience heavy > menstrual bleeding? Guest guest
Since I had my myo in 6-03 my periods have trouble free---no more heavy bleeding, no more horrible cramps and the best of all no more clots that seemed to be the size of my hand....Having the myomectomy was a hard decission to make (I waited 6 years), now I know it was the best decission I have ever made regarding my health In uterinefibroids , " tldk_2000 " wrote: > Has anyone had a myo, and still continued to experience heavy > menstrual bleeding? Guest guest
I had my fibroids removed by laporectomy in August last year due to the heavy bleeding and my periods went immediately back to normal - I enjoy (OK maybe that's exaggerating a little!) perfectly normal periods again - no flooding, no clots, no more super plus tampons soaked in 15 minutes. I have energy and a life again. It was absolutely worth it. --- tldk_2000 tkilmartin@...> wrote: > Has anyone had a myo, and still continued to > experience heavy > menstrual bleeding?
