Guest guest
Wondering if the group can give me some feeback based on their experiences. Had my myo on December 5th, abdominal, healed very quickly and nearly pain-free. I really was blessed with an incredible surgeon, Dr. Sondheimer at the University of Pennsylvania, and an incredible recovery. I've been hearing varying stories of women who found it very easy...too easy to get pregnant after the procedure. My fibroid was very large (my Surgeon compared it to a NFL football in size and shape), so I figured I'd have a long road to travel on this one... It's early yet, and believe me, we were not trying to get pregnant, at least not yet. However, I'm extemely tired, voraciously hungry AND queasy simultaneously, my breasts are sore and tender and I generally am not feeling myself. I don't suffer from heavy PMS so this is unusual. It's been hard to track my period since the surgery, but according to my last three months, my charts are saying my highest fertility day was the 17th of January. Which certainly makes sense. My period's not due for another 7 days or so. Should I be taking a test, or maybe fear is making me feel like I am, when I'm not. Who knows, I may just be a little piggie (eating) and feeling the last effects of my body recovering from the surgery, OR maybe the surgery altered my PMS symptoms? Did anyone experience heightened fertility right after their procedure?

Guest guest
Hmm..why not just take a blood test and know right away.. My Dr did tell me most women often get pregnant after myo;s if there are not any other infertility factors.. Good luck and let us know your results. Did you get your fibroid removed for fertility reasons? esotericcherries esotericcherries@...> wrote: Did anyone experience heightened fertility right after their procedure?
