I used to eat tuna frequently while pregnant with my first son. I also had the

rhogam shot with him during pregnancy for being Rh-. I also had gestational

diabetes and ate lots of fish during that time as it was " good " for me. My

first son has autism.

However, my second pregnancy, I had the same troubles as above and did the same

things as above and have a healthy, typical son.

I wonder about this...how things happen...

The only difference with my kids is that my older son Salvatore had reactions to

his vaccines even with swelling at the injection site for weeks and crying and

so on...my younger son did not have any reactions. My younger son was not

given any booster shots as I knew about vaccine risks by the time he was due for

them.

I believe that my autistic son had terrible reactions to his DTP series...the

last shot being acellular. He seemed to have a more intestinal reaction with

the MMR.

My younger son only had acellular DTP..not sure if there is a difference, but

something happened.

Some rhogams contained more mercury than others, And there was a

rhogam that never contained mercury, I dont know how old your second

child is. I was told that a fetus kind of acts as a chelator for the

mother. If this is true your first baby could have gotten a larger

load of mercury from your body.

Someone correct me if I am wrong about the fetus acting as a

chelator for mercury.

My children are 8 (4/5/96) and 6 (12/5/97). 20 months apart. I had Rhogam with

both of them. After my first son was born I also had an additional Rhogam shot

because he was a positive blood type and I'm negative.

I did not have a second Rhogam shot after my younger guy was born as he is O

negative blood type, being negative like me.

I dont know about babies chelating the moms. I've never heard this, so I cant

say anything about that. Anyone???

WinRho SD [licensed 1996] Theres a good chance you could have

received the winRho that never contained thimerosal, with your

second child.
