Guest guest
hello, I had 2 ultra sounds last night and was told that I have a tumor in the back of my uterus (it is tipped) and it is possibly a fibroid. I did some reading to find that it is rare for a fibroid to be by itself-though not impossible. I supposedly have pcos but with no insulin resistance and last night found out I have just a few very small cysts on both ovaries. I have been in sooooo much pain lately esp in pelvis area and lower back. It is stabbing, burning, twinging. I feel as if there is much more than what was shared last night but the MD does not have results yet so I have to wait.I am on Yasmin BC pill since last April, I am 41 and married 11 years next month. No kids only one miscarriage. Other symptoms are very tired, very gassy (sorry to be blunt)--I stopped eating soy as I heard it (the estrogen it produces) fuels tumors. thanks, a
Guest guest
Hello a On the point you made about been very gassy I have to say that I have the same symptom as well. I have been trying to solve this mystery but with no success so far. I thought that I may have IBS and tried to stop eating wheat etc. I wanted to ask if your symptom becomes more pronounced when you have your period. In my case during those days my whole tummy aches and it is difficult to sit down or go to the toilet. I am on the pill as well and my fibroid is in the back of my uterus. Thanks andra

Anyways...I have had two ultrasounds, the recent was yesterday. They have only found one Fibroid on my uterus(7 cm). I still think the MIGHT be missing one, but I can't say for sure. I also take Yasmin, have been taking it for 2 mths now. I also have PCOS, was diagnosed a little over a month ago with it.I'm sorry we can't have another thing in common with our ages..lol I'm only 19... Well, anyways...Welcome to the Group! THis group has been very supportive and helpful to me. I hope you find it to be as well.
