Hey ladies!

I went to the gyn, and I just got back a few mins ago. They did

another ultrasound and said my fibroid has not grown, and my ovaries

look ok. She says that she thinks I might have endometriosis, and in

order to find that out, I need to have a laprascopy. So as soon as

my mom decides she has the money, I'll have that done. She said that

my lower back pain can be caused by endometriosis also. So now I

play the waiting game. I really hope I can do this pretty soon. I am

tired of being in pain, and if this is what is causing it, then I

want it done and over with. I am glad to report that no new fibroids

were found, and my one has not grown. Has anybody else on here ever

had endometriosis as well as a fibroid(s)? If so, I would like to

talk with you. I hope my mom comes up with the money soon, as I want

to get this over with. Well, I hope you all are having a great day.

Email me if you have any questions, or if you have had endo also.

P.S. I'm pretty bummed about this..cause I have no clue when I'll be

able to get the laprascopy done. Hope it's sooner than I'm thinking!

Hi a

I have endometriosis and fibroids, as well as severe pelvic

congestion, a retroverted uterus and cystic ovaries.

I had a laparoscopy last June and had the endo lasered. It did help

with the lower back pain, but unfortunately due to the fibroid the

bleeding stayed the same. I had hormone treatment after my lap to

try and stop the endo recurring, but unfortuately it made my fibroid

grow. I stopped taking the hormone treatment and am now back to

heavy painfull periods. The lap took me a couple of weeks to get

over, but the decrease in pain was worth it at the time.

I do know some women get a huge relief from having the lap, that

lasts for years. Although the best endo treatment is excision

surgery, where they cut the affected tissue away completely. I have

been told that it wont grow back in that spot ever again.

I hope your mum can come up with the money soon and you can find

some relief from this horrible disease.

Hugs Suziedee
